Well let me start from the beginning. This weekend is a long weekend in the UK because of a Bank holiday on Monday. During the week while going to customers and being in the office to do admin work and other things I started thinking about what I could do in the long weekend. On my way home home from a customer I am currently doing an implementation I had a bold and spontaneous thought. What if I spend time with my sweet girlfriend in NY?
I started thinking about the fact that she will be visiting London in the first week on June during the week on the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, which is in roughly 4 weeks from now. But the heart wants what the mind can’t deny and I want to see her. Being able to wrap my arms around her and just hold her and spend time with her. So I started looking into plane tickets and on Friday made the jump and booked a ticket for the next day …. which is today and here I am. In a plane almost about to touch down in JFK NY in 2 hours. And then it’s quickly off to Brooklyn to surprise her … and then spend a few days with her before I fly back to London on Monday evening.
Yes you read correctly, I am flying back in 2 days from now … call me crazy, call me nuts, call me whatever you want. I feel with it’s worth it with all my heart. Anyway, 2 more hours and then another 1:30 hours to get to Brooklyn. Can’t wait 🙂 See you on the next update. Signing off from flight BA0117
