After a year of being abroad coming back home and being back is weird. It’s as if nothing has changed in that year, business as usual but in reality a lot did change. The way I am after a year of being abroad in China, meeting friends that are dear to me as family is here in the Netherlands. Maybe even closer since we’ve been through so much with each other in Beijing.
But back to the title of this post, weddings. I’ve back for about 3 weeks and last weekend went to the wedding of friends. While I must say I have a thing for weddings and yesterdays wedding was great to witness. Specially when two people like my friends are so in touch with each other and you can see the love radiate of of them.
My and my gf have been together for 7 years and 8 months and being apart from each other has weakened the relationship but hopefully I can spend more time with my girlfriend and I hope that the vacation we’ve planned in august for China will bring us back together. A wedding for me and her won’t be any time soon, but who knows what the future might bring.
